The web app at next.brella.io runs the same code as the mobile app. Its layout follows the window width: a bottom tab bar in narrow windows, a top bar and left menu in wide windows, and a right sidebar on large screens.
Where to find it
Sign in at next.brella.io and open an event from My events.
The three layouts
Narrower than 768 px (a phone browser): a header at the top and a floating tab bar at the bottom, like the mobile app.
768 px and wider: a top bar and a left menu. There is no bottom bar and no Menu tab.
1024 px and wider: the same, plus a sidebar on the right.
Top bar (768 px and wider)
Event logo (left): opens My events. Events without a logo show the Brella logo.
Event name (center): opens the event's Home.
Question-mark icon (right): opens the support chat. It appears only at events that have support chat.
Your profile picture (right): opens Account.
Left menu (768 px and wider)
From top to bottom:
The Home tab, labeled Event Home unless the organizer renamed it.
My Schedule (shown as "My" plus the name of the Schedule page). Only at events with a schedule.
Networking. The badge counts your unread messages and incoming meeting requests. Only when networking is on for you.
QR Code. Only when the event uses lead scanning and you have a QR code or can scan.
The event's pages, in the organizer's order and with the organizer's names. The built-in pages are Discovery, People, Schedule, Stream, Breakout Rooms, Speakers, Sponsors and Spaces. Sponsor pages, custom pages and meeting programs appear here too. A page shows only when the organizer turned its feature on. Stream shows how many streams are live.
Account.
People holds the attendee list, your matches and your bookmarks. Networking holds your chats and meeting requests. See Use the Networking tab.
Right sidebar (1024 px and wider)
Search: opens the event search.
Your profile card: select it to see your profile as others see it. Edit event profile opens Account.
Spotlight: your accepted meetings and bookmarked sessions that start within the next 10 minutes or started in the last 5 minutes, and announcements sent in the last 10 minutes.
Messages: your 6 most recent chats, without hidden chats. See all opens Networking.
The event's app sponsor, when the organizer set one.
The sidebar hides on pages that need the full width: a stream, a session's stream, the Schedule page, a breakout room, a custom page and the map.
Narrow windows (under 768 px)
Header: the search icon on the left, the question-mark icon and your profile picture on the right. The question mark opens the support chat when the event has one. Otherwise it opens Help.
Bottom tab bar: Home, My Schedule, Networking, QR Code and Menu. The bar shows icons without labels.
Menu: the event's pages as tiles, Change Event under the event name and Settings as the last tile. Settings opens Account.
Switch events
768 px and wider: select the event logo in the top bar.
Narrower windows: open Menu > Change Event.
Good to know
At 1024 px and wider, a video meeting opens in a separate browser window. Allow pop-ups for next.brella.io. If the browser blocks the window, the call opens inside the page.
Some custom pages open in a new browser tab. If the browser blocks it, the page shows "This page opens in a new tab" with an Open page button.
Notifications in the web app are browser notifications. See Get event announcements.
Not available in the web app: recording or uploading a pitch reel video, Share Profile and App version under Account. Use the mobile app for these.
At 768 px and wider, the question-mark icon appears only at events that have support chat. For help at other events, open help-attendees.brella.io. See Get help in the app.
Troubleshooting
The right sidebar is missing
The window is narrower than 1024 px, or you are on a stream, a session's stream, the Schedule page, a breakout room, a custom page or the map. Widen the window or open another page.
Networking is missing from the menu
Networking is off for your ticket or attendance type. Contact the organizer. See Meetings or chats are missing.
A video call or a custom page does not open
The browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for next.brella.io and try again.
