Find your way around the mobile app

Inside an event, the mobile app has a tab bar at the bottom and a header at the top. The tabs you see depend on the event and on your ticket.

Where to find it

Open an event from My events. The tab bar is at the bottom of every event screen. The web app shows the same layout in a window narrower than 768 px; wider windows use a left menu instead. See Find your way around the web app.

The tabs

From left to right:

  1. Event Home (or the name your organizer gave it): stories, the organizer's welcome media, your profile card, Activity, Event info, Map, Spotlight and the other Home sections. See Add an image or video to the event home page.

  2. My Schedule ("My" plus the name of the event's schedule page): your bookmarked sessions and your meetings in one timeline. Shown only at events with a schedule. When it is empty, it reads "Plan your event" with Add sessions and Book meetings.

  3. Networking: your chats and the meeting requests sent to you. The badge counts unread messages plus requests waiting for your answer. Shown only when networking is on for your ticket. See Use the Networking tab.

  4. QR Code: your event QR code under My Code and the scanner under Scan QR Code. Shown only at events with lead scanning, and only if you have a QR code or can scan. The screen title is Lead Scan. See Scan QR codes to connect.

  5. Menu: every other page of the event, Change Event and Settings.

You can't reorder the tabs. The organizer can rename the Home and Schedule pages; Networking, QR Code and Menu keep their names.

The header

  • Magnifying glass (top left): opens the event search. It shows on the first screen of each tab. On other screens a back arrow takes its place. See Search the event.

  • Question-mark icon (top right): opens the support chat, or the Help screen at events without one. See Get help in the app.

  • Your profile picture (top right): opens Account, with the Event settings for this event and your Account settings.

The Menu

Menu shows the event cover and name, then tiles in two columns.

  • Change Event under the event name returns to My events.

  • One tile per page the organizer published, with the organizer's names and icons. The built-in pages are Discovery, People, Schedule, Stream, Breakout Rooms, Speakers, Sponsors and Spaces. Sponsor pages, custom pages and managed meetings programs appear here too. A tile shows only when the event uses that feature.

  • Settings is the last tile. It opens Account.

  • If the organizer set an app sponsor, its name and logo sit at the bottom. Select it to open the sponsor's booth.

Good to know

  • The tabs differ from event to event. If Networking or QR Code is missing, the event does not use the feature or your ticket does not include it.

  • On iPhones running iOS 26 or earlier, the tab set is fixed while the event is open. If the organizer turns a feature on during the event, close the event with Menu > Change Event and open it again to see the new tab. Android and iOS 27 update the tabs live.

  • On iPhones running iOS 26, the tab bar shows icons without labels. Other versions show the labels.

  • If you have not finished joining the event, a sheet covers the tabs: "Complete onboarding to get started". Select Finish onboarding to continue, or Go back to return to My events.

  • Branded event apps show the question-mark icon only at events with the support chat.

Troubleshooting

A page I used before is missing from Menu
The organizer turned the feature off, or limited who can see the page. Contact the organizer.

My Schedule is missing
The event has no schedule in the app, or the organizer turned off the My Schedule view. Your meetings are still listed under Networking > Chats.
