Deleting your Brella account is permanent. Brella deletes the account and its data at once and cannot restore it. To use Brella again, create a new account.
What is deleted
Your account, profile and password.
Every event you joined, with your event profile, interests and availability.
Your meetings, meeting requests, chats and messages.
Your bookmarks, notifications and the invites you claimed.
Sponsor lead scans keep the details the sponsor collected; the link to your account is removed.
What to do after a deletion
Create a new account. You can reuse the same email address. Enter it on the sign-in screen and enter the code Brella emails you.
Rejoin your events. Public events: enter the event join code again. Invite-only events: your personal join code was deleted with the account, so ask the organizer for a new invite. See Join an event with a join code.
Set up your event profile again. Interests, introduction, availability and meetings are not carried over.
Good to know
The delete option is under your profile picture, then Account > Delete account ("This is permanent"). The app asks you to confirm with Delete account, shows Deleting your account... and then Account deleted.
Deleting the mobile app from your device does not delete your account. Reinstall the app and sign in again.
