A space is a discussion board for one topic chosen by the organizer. Post, comment, like and follow posts in the mobile app and the web app.
Where to find it
Mobile app: Menu > Spaces (or the name your organizer gave the page).
Web app: Spaces in the left menu. In a narrow window, Menu > Spaces.
If the event has one space, it opens directly. With several, you see a list of cards with the space's name, description and number of posts; a pill shows how many posts are new to you. Select a card to open the space. Everyone who can open a space can post in it.
Write a post
Open a space and select Create post.
Write your post in Write a post…. Use the toolbar for bold and italic, and add one image from your device. A web address you type becomes a link when you post; the editor lists the links it recognized.
Select Post. The app confirms with "Post published".
Your own posts have a menu (⋯) with Edit and Delete. Editing opens the same editor; select Save to publish the change.
Comment, like and follow
Comment under a post opens the post with its replies. Write in Reply to <name>… and select Post. Comments take text and links, no images. Edit or delete your own comment from its ⋯ menu; when editing, the field reads Write a reply… and the button Save.
Select the heart to like a post or a comment. Select it again to undo.
Follow in a post's ⋯ menu keeps you informed about new replies. You follow your own posts automatically. Unfollow stops it.
When posts you follow get replies, a pill at the bottom reads "<n> new replies". Select it to open New replies, then a reply to jump to it, or Mark all as read.
Good to know
New posts don't appear while you read. A button at the top reads Get <n> new posts; select it to load them. Posts also reload when you come back to the space.
Posts and comments you have not seen carry a New post or New reply tag.
Long posts are cut with See more.
Organizers moderate spaces. A post or comment they hide shows "This post was hidden for others by a moderator" to you, and nothing to others.
In the web app on a wide window, the editor opens as a dialog. Closing the dialog discards an unsent post.
The organizer sets the name of the Spaces page, so it can differ at your event.
Troubleshooting
"Post published, but the image couldn't be added. Edit the post to try again."
The text went through, but the image upload failed. Open the post's ⋯ menu, select Edit and add the image again.
"This space is no longer available" / "This post is no longer available"
The organizer removed the space or the post, or the author deleted the post.
