Give a session 1 to 5 stars and an optional comment once it has started. Only the organizer sees your rating.
Where to find it
Session page: open Schedule (or the name your organizer gave it), select the session and find the Rate this session card.
Home > Feedback hub > Session ratings: lists sessions the organizer asks you to rate. The button shows how many you have not rated yet, for example 1 New.
Both work the same way in the mobile app and the web app.
Rate from the session page
In Rate this session, select a star. A sheet opens.
Under Your rating, change the stars if needed. Selecting the same star twice gives a half star.
Enter a comment under Add comment (optional).
Select Save. The app shows "Rating saved". Cancel closes the sheet without saving.
Before the session starts, the stars are gray and the card says "You can rate this session once it starts."
Rate from the Feedback hub
On Home, select Session ratings in the Feedback hub. If several sessions can be rated, select one from the Session ratings list.
The session title is the question. The speakers are listed under it; select the text to open the session page.
Select 1 to 5 stars. The comment step opens.
Select Comment (Optional) to add a comment, then Save.
Select Done. The next unrated session opens, or the screen closes.
If you missed the session, select I did not attend instead of the stars, then Done. The organizer sees "did not attend" instead of a star score, and the answer does not count toward the session's average rating.
Change a rating
Open the session page and select a star in Rate this session. The sheet opens with your stars and comment filled in. Change them and select Save. You can also open the session again from Feedback hub > Session ratings.
Good to know
The Feedback hub lists only sessions the organizer asks you to rate. For most sessions that means sessions you bookmarked. The organizer can instead ask everyone with access to the session, or selected lists.
A session you did not bookmark can still be rated from its session page, if ratings are on for it.
One rating per session. Rating again replaces the earlier rating.
The organizer sees your stars, your comment, your name and your email. Other attendees do not see your rating. The Feedback hub screen says "Your feedback will be shared only with the events team to improve future events."
You can rate a session at any time after its start time. There is no deadline.
If a session page has no Rate this session card, the organizer has turned ratings off for that session.
Troubleshooting
The stars are gray
The session has not started yet. Come back after the start time.
A session you attended is not in the Feedback hub
The organizer asks only people who bookmarked the session, and you did not bookmark it. Rate it from the session page instead.
"No sessions to rate yet"
No session with ratings on has started yet, or none of them includes you in its audience. Come back later.
"Failed to save rating"
The app could not reach the server. Check your connection and select Save or Done again.
