"<n>/<m> requests remaining" tells you how many meeting requests you can still send at this event. The limit comes from your ticket type or from a list the organizer added you to.
Where to find it
Suggest meeting screen: a banner at the bottom reads "<n>/<m> requests remaining" with a Learn more link.
People list: a notice at the top reads Your ticket <ticket name> and "You have utilized <used> out of <limit> meeting requests allocated for your ticket type." Manage sent requests opens the Networking tab.
If you don't see either, your ticket has no request limit.
What counts as a request
Every meeting request you send counts while it is pending, accepted or being rescheduled.
Requests you receive and accept do not count.
Chats you start and guests you invite to a group meeting do not count.
How requests come back
A request returns to your count when:
the other person declines it,
you or the other person cancels the request or the meeting.
The limit applies to one event and does not reset during it. Cancel requests that get no answer to use the slot for someone else. See Waiting for an answer to your meeting request.
When you have none left
Suggest meeting disappears from attendee profiles. Chat stays available if the organizer turned on open chat.
On People, the button on a person's card reads View profile instead of Connect.
You can still accept requests other people send you.
Cancel a pending request or a meeting to get a request back.
Confirmed meeting limit
The organizer can also cap the number of confirmed meetings per person. This cap counts every meeting you take part in, requested or accepted.
When you reach it, accepting shows "This meeting couldn't be confirmed" with "You've reached the maximum number of accepted meetings." Sending a new request fails with an error until a meeting is canceled.
When the other person has reached it, accepting shows "Unfortunately, this meeting couldn't be confirmed" with "<name> has reached the meeting limit for this event." The request stays pending. Select Send message to leave a note so you can meet if a spot opens.
Canceling a confirmed meeting frees a spot for both of you.
Good to know
Company representatives with a company meeting limit don't see the request counter. They see "<n>/<m> meetings remaining" for the whole team instead, and a Company connections tab under Networking. See Company meeting limit and Company connections.
If the organizer added you to a list with its own limit, that limit replaces the one from your ticket type.
Learn more on the banner opens a box titled "Limited meeting requests" that explains the limit.
