If Brella works on your phone's mobile data but not on your company network, the network blocks part of the app. Give this list to your IT team.
Brella
Allow these on port 443 (HTTPS and secure WebSocket):
https://*.brella.io— the web app (next.brella.io), the API (api.brella.io), images (brella.io/cdn-cgi/image), uploaded images and files (for examplebrella-assets.brella.io) and event web addresses. Branded event apps also use an address ending in.brella.io.wss://*.brella.io— the live connection for chat, meeting updates and announcements. It goes toapi.brella.io.https://hot-updater.brella.workers.dev— mobile app updates.
Brella does not use Sendbird or magic.link. Remove both from old allow lists.
Services the app loads
Sign-in code step:
https://*.hcaptcha.com(the captcha check before the code email is sent). The web app loadsjs.hcaptcha.com.Push notifications:
https://*.onesignal.com. The web app loads the OneSignal SDK fromcdn.onesignal.com.Video calls (1:1 meetings, group meetings and breakout rooms):
https://*.whereby.com. Rooms are onbrella.whereby.com. Whereby's own network requirements for audio and video traffic also apply.Live streams and session videos: the video provider the organizer uses (for example YouTube, Vimeo or Zoom). The player is loaded from the provider's address.
Videos uploaded to Brella (pitch reels):
*.cloudflarestream.comand*.videodelivery.net.Support chat (only when the event has it):
https://*.intercom.io,wss://*.intercom.io,*.intercomcdn.com,*.intercomassets.com.Interactive maps (only when the event has one):
*.expofp.com,*.cartocdn.com,unpkg.com,*.jsdelivr.net.Error reporting:
*.ingest.us.sentry.io. Blocking it does not break the app.
Brella's emails, including sign-in codes, come from [email protected]. If the organizer sends from their own domain, event emails come from that domain; in a branded event app, sign-in codes can also come from it. Ask IT to allow *@brella.io and the organizer's domain.
Check what is blocked
In the web app, open Account > Troubleshoot. The Browser check reports "Some services blocked" and names the service (Notifications, Support chat or Captcha) when a blocker or firewall stops it. The Internet connection check shows whether the server answers and whether the live connection works.
Ad blockers and privacy extensions block the same services. Pause them for the web app and reload.
