Your interests and goals decide who Brella matches you with. Change them at any time; every change saves at once.
Where to find it
Mobile app: on Event Home, select Edit event profile under your name. Or select your profile picture at the top right. Then select Edit my interests under Event settings.
Web app: select Edit event profile in the right sidebar (1024 px and wider) or under your name on the Home screen, or select your profile picture. Then select Edit my interests.
The screen is called My interests.
Change your selection
Open My interests. Interests are grouped by category. Use Search by interest to find one.
Select an interest to add it. Select it again to remove it.
If an interest has more than one goal, a sheet named after the interest opens. Check the goals that apply, for example "Network about this" or "Offer or sell this", and close the sheet.
There is no save button. Each selection is stored when you make it, and your matches update with it.
Good to know
You must keep at least one interest. Removing the last one shows "You must select at least one interest".
Fewer, specific interests give better matches. Selecting most of the event's interests lowers your match score for everyone.
Your interests are visible on your profile. People who share them see them highlighted under Why You Should Connect.
The categories, interests and goals come from the organizer, so they differ from event to event.
