People lists the other attendees. From a person's card or profile you bookmark them, start a chat or suggest a meeting.
Where to find it
Mobile app: Menu > People (or the name your organizer gave the page).
Web app: People in the left menu. In narrow windows, Menu > People.
Once you have a connection, Networking > Book more meetings also opens People.
The sub-tabs
Your matches: the people who share the most interests and goals with you, best match first. It shows a selection of your best matches; the number depends on the event. Shown only at events with matchmaking, if your ticket can send meeting requests and you set up your networking profile.
Attendees (or the page name, if the organizer renamed People): everyone who joined, newest first. Use Search for attendees, Sort and Filters to narrow the list. See Sort attendees and Filter attendees.
Scans: the people whose QR codes you scanned. Shown only if you can scan. See Scan QR codes to connect.
Bookmarks: the people you bookmarked.
A person's card
Each card shows the picture, name, job title and company, and the person's interests. Interests you share are highlighted. The bookmark icon at the bottom left saves the person to Bookmarks.
The button at the bottom right changes with your status with that person:
Connect: opens the profile.
New request: they sent you a meeting request. Opens the chat so you can answer.
Waiting: you sent them a request. Opens the chat.
Meeting details: you have a meeting. Opens the chat.
View chat: you have an open chat without a meeting.
View profile: you can't request a meeting with this person, or you skipped networking when you joined. Open the profile to see why.
A person's profile
Select a card or Connect to open the profile.
Why You Should Connect lists the interests you share, grouped by goal, for example You both network in these areas. <name>'s Interests lists the rest.
The bottom bar has a menu (⋮) with Bookmark or Remove bookmark, Add to phone contacts, Report user and Block user, then Chat and Suggest meeting.
Suggest a meeting
Select Suggest meeting.
Check the suggested time slot, write why you want to meet and select Send request.
The person accepts, declines or reschedules. See Suggest a meeting and Meeting status.
Start a chat
Select Chat.
On Start conversation, enter a message of up to 500 characters and select Start conversation.
The chat opens under Networking > Chats. See Start a chat.
Bookmark a person
Select the bookmark icon on the card, or ⋮ > Bookmark on the profile. Find your bookmarks under People > Bookmarks and under Bookmarks at the top of Networking. You can't bookmark people who have not joined the event yet.
Good to know
Chat appears only at events where the organizer turned on open chat. Suggest meeting appears only when you can request a meeting with that person right now. If you already have a meeting with the person, Join call takes its place.
If the message "<name> is not available for networking" appears, the person opted out of networking or their ticket does not allow requests. You can't chat with or meet them.
If you skipped networking when you joined, Your matches is missing and Attendees shows "Get your first matches" with Get started. Profiles show Start networking instead of Chat and Suggest meeting. See Set up your networking profile.
People you blocked, and people who blocked you, are not listed.
At some events, Attendees also lists people who registered but have not joined. Their cards read "<first name> hasn't joined the app yet." See Get notified when a registered attendee joins.
The organizer can hide people whose ticket does not allow networking, so the list can be shorter than the number of registrants.
Troubleshooting
"Sorry, networking unavailable"
Networking is off for your ticket type. You can't open People. Contact the organizer.
"You don't have any bookmarks yet"
You have not bookmarked anyone. Select the bookmark icon on a card.
I can't find someone
Use Search for attendees with the name or company. If they still don't appear, they have not joined the event, they blocked you, or their ticket hides them from the list.
