Visit a sponsor's booth

Written by Customer Success

Each sponsor of the event has a booth: a page in the app about the company. It can hold videos or images, products, files to download, links, and the people who represent the company at the event. The mobile app and the web app show the same booth.

Where to find it

  • Mobile app: Menu > Sponsors.

  • Web app: Sponsors in the left menu. In windows narrower than 768 px, open Menu > Sponsors.

The organizer can rename the page and change its icon; the default icon is a handshake. Some events have more sponsor pages with their own names, for example one for exhibitors. Each of them lists only some categories. If you don't see Sponsors, the organizer has not turned on sponsors.

Find a sponsor

The page lists sponsors under their category names, for example "Gold" or "Exhibitors". Each card shows the logo, the name and the subtitle. Larger cards can also show a cover image and the pictures of the company's representatives. Each card ends with Visit booth (or the text the organizer or sponsor chose). Select the card to open the booth.

To narrow the list:

  • All categories: choose one category in Select a category. The dropdown is there only when the page has more than one category.

  • Search: select the magnifying glass. When the page has only one category, the button reads Search for Sponsors (with the page's name). It opens the event search limited to sponsors. See Search the event.

  • Filters: select Filters, choose values, then Apply. The filters depend on the event: Tags (the sponsor's interests), Location, and fields the organizer added. Select Clear filters to remove them. If there is no Filters button, the event has no sponsor filters.

Tags on a card that match your own interests are highlighted and listed first.

At the top of the main sponsors page, sponsor banners can appear. With more than one banner, they change every 8 seconds. Select a banner (View more) to open that sponsor's booth.

What a booth shows

From top to bottom:

  1. Carousel: images, videos or web pages from the sponsor, in a 16:9 frame. With more than one slide, swipe or use the arrows on the sides. Under the frame, "1/3 media" shows where you are; Full screen enlarges the slides and Close returns. Without slides, the booth shows a cover image, or nothing.

  2. Company details: logo, category, company name, industry, location and subtitle. If the event matches attendees with sponsors, the sponsor's tags appear above the logo.

  3. Show map: opens the event map at the sponsor's location. It appears only when the organizer has added a map link for this sponsor. If the event has no venue map, the app shows "The venue map is not available for this event".

  4. Link buttons: Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Instagram, for the ones the sponsor added. They open outside Brella.

  5. Extra fields: answers to fields the organizer added for sponsors, if any. Select a value to copy it, or to open it if it is a link.

  6. Booth chat: "Start a public chat with <sponsor name>", when the sponsor has a chat. See Chat in sessions, streams and sponsor booths.

  7. Sections: Details, Representatives, Products, Downloads and Sessions. The organizer or the sponsor can rename them and change their order. A section with nothing in it is not shown. Sections other than Details show a count, for example "Products (3)".

  8. Links: "Links (<number>)" with web pages from the sponsor, such as forms or brochures. Each link opens outside Brella, in your browser. A link can fill in your name and email on the page it opens, for example on a sign-up form. The address under the link title shows what it sends.

Details

The company description. In the mobile app, a long description is cut off; select Show more to read all of it.

Representatives

The people who represent the company at the event. The booth shows up to 5 cards in a row; scroll sideways to see them. If there are more than 5, select Show all for the full list. Select a card to open the person's profile, where you can start a chat or suggest a meeting. See Start a chat and Suggest a meeting.

This section shows only when networking is on for you.

Products

The sponsor's products or services, each with an image, a title and a description. The booth lists up to 10. If there are more, select Show all. Select a product to open its page outside Brella: in your phone's browser in the mobile app, in a new browser tab in the web app.

Downloads

Files from the sponsor, such as brochures or price lists, each with a file icon, a title and a description. The booth lists up to 10. If there are more, select Show all. Select the row or the download button to open the file outside Brella, where you can save it.

Sessions

Sessions the sponsor is part of. Select a session to open it.

Other ways to open a booth

  • A banner on the Home screen (View more).

  • A sponsor card in the list in People, marked Sponsored.

  • The app sponsor at the bottom of Menu (mobile app) or of the right sidebar (web app).

  • The sponsor shown on a session.

  • The booth button on a representative's profile.

  • A sponsor in the search results.

Good to know

  • The organizer and the sponsor decide what the booth contains. If a booth has no products, downloads or chat, the sponsor has not added them.

  • Brella records when you open a booth and which carousel slides you view, for the sponsor's booth statistics.

  • The word "booth" in buttons such as Visit booth can be different at your event.

Troubleshooting

"No sponsors found" — "There are no sponsors for this event"
The organizer has not added sponsors to this page yet.

"Your search didn't return any results."
