If the event organizer has set up fast onboarding for an event, as an attendee you will be able to join the event with only two clicks. In fast onboarding, you will not be setting up your networking profile when onboarding an event.
Fast onboard an event
When fast onboarding an event, you will only see two screens after entering the join code.
Welcome screen
This is the first screen you will see when you are onboarding an event on the Brella web app through https://next.brella.io. You will be able to see a small welcome message set by the event organizer along with some key event details. Click on 'Get started'.
Personal information
Following the above screen, you will be shown a screen with 'personal information'. The details of this screen are pre-populated from the data you entered while creating your Brella account. You can edit this if needed or click 'Complete profile'.
After you click on the 'Complete profile' button, you will join the event. At this point, you have not set up your networking profile, so you won't be able to set up 1:1 meetings if networking is happening in the event you are joining.
Set up networking after onboarding
Networking profiles can be completed at any time later by going to the,
People tab,
OR by clicking on,
'enable networking' after clicking on edit profile on the event home page
You can set up the networking profile by following these steps.
Until you enable the networking profile, the 'Your matches' tab will not be visible on the people tab.
