While Brella's matchmaking algorithm shows you the most relevant matches based on your interests, the Search bar and Filters are available on the Networking/People's tab if you want to seek outside your interests.
How to filter the networking tab
You can filter attendees by relevant interests, the goal that the person you're looking for is offering or looking for, the country they are from, their persona, function, and industry.
For example, if you're a cybersecurity analyst in the software and IT sector, looking for Networking and mentorship for your company from an investor or corporation in Finland, Ireland, and the United Kingdom operating in the Venture capital space for the FinTech industry, here is how you would use the filters.
On the Networking/People's page, click on Filters on the upper right side of the page.
Select the Interest or the closest one to the topic you're searching for, i.e., Idea Stage and Content marketing solutions, AI & Machine Learning.
Then choose "Network about this" as a goal
Select "Finland", "Ireland", and "United Kingdom" as Operating in
Select "Investor" and "Corporation" for Persona
Select "Customer Success" for Function
Select the industry as "FinTech"
Click on Apply Filters, and then you will be shown all the people who match this Interest at the event.
